Henry H. “Rique” Remschel Endowed Scholarship

In 2009, KPSF was honored to accept a generous endowment in memory of Henry H. “Rique” Remschel. A long-time resident of the Hill Country, Mr. Remschel’s family has lived in the area for generations. Raised in Kerrville, he was a proud graduate of Tivy High School, class of 1945. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 80.

A scholarship in Mr. Remschel’s name is awarded during the Tivy High School Senior Awards Assembly each May. The scholarship demonstrates the commitment of Mrs. Remschel and her family to honor her late husband and children’s father. Also, the scholarship expresses the Remschel family’s commitment to encourage the youth of our community to further their education and set goals for the future.

Income from this endowment will provide college scholarships for future generations of Tivy graduates.
