PLEASE SHARE!! REGISTRATION FOR 2015-2016!!Kerrville ISD’s Early Childhood Center is now accepting applications for its Head Start and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Applications are available at the Early Childhood Campus located at 1011 Third Street. Or, for more information call 257-1335. These programs are open to age and income eligible children living in the Kerrville ISD attendance zone. Children must be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2015. These programs provide strong, pre-school instruction from certified teachers in a loving, caring, low teacher-student ratio environment. If you or someone you know MIGHT qualify, please call ECC and speak to Chris Simone!Pre-Registration for 1st through 5th graders next year: Today, all Kerrville ISD elementary students in kinder through 4th grade will bring home an enrollment card for the 2015-2016 school year. This card must be filled out and returned as soon as possible by all students whether they are returning to KISD next year or not. If not returning, write “Not Returning to KISD” at the top of the card. This only applies to students entering 1st through 5th grade for 2015-2016. (if you don’t receive a card today, comment below with the student’s school, child’s name, teacher and grade level and I’ll ensure you get one Tuesday).Kindergarten Round-Up April 6-10: Registration for students who will attend Kindergarten beginning with the 2015-2016 school year will be held April 6-10 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at each elementary school campus. If a student has not previously attended KISD Head Start or Pre-Kindergarten, the parent/guardian will need to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, immunization record, social security number and proof of residency.Elementary Attendance Confirmations August 4-5: Parents must call or visit their child’s school on August 4-5 to confirm attendance at that school. If attendance is not confirmed at this time, the pre-registration will be pulled and the child may lose their spot at that campus.6th – 12th Grade:Registration for students in grades 6-12 will occur at back-to-school events held at each campus in August.
